Magnesium (glycinate) 120 mg 360 vcaps Highly absorbable magnesium chelate for sensitive individuals *Glycinate is a synthesized salt of glycine which is used as a gastric antacid. Magnesium glycinate is less likely to cause loose stools than other forms of magnesium. Each VCapsule Contains magnesium (glycinate) 120 mg. vitamin C (as ascorbyl palmitate) 10 mg. Suggested Use: 1-4 vegetarian capsules per day, in divided doses, with meals.

great source of magnesium

I was taking another magnesium product that was very hard on my stomach, but this product is encapsulated (as they advertise) only in a vegetable capsule. It's very light on the stomach. My other pills were also "horse pills," whereas these are normal size. The only downfall is that each pill is a lower mg (only 120) so that you have to take more -- I take four a day. But at least they're easy to swallow!

Effective magnesium & fast shipping!

My doctor recommended that I take Pure Encapsulations magnesium glycinate to help alleviate some Lyme and coinfection symptoms. Since those infections tend to consume magnesium from the body, the medical field has mixed opinions as to whether oral magnesium helps the patient more by relieving deficiency symptoms or strengthens the infections by feeding them. In my case, I definitely notice improvement while taking magnesium, but need to take 7-8 caps every night. Magnesium glycinate and magnesium malate are two of the most bio-available forms of oral magnesium. Pure Encap. magnesium glycinate has nearly eliminated my foot and leg cramps, helps me sleep better, and helps me feel more relaxed overall. YMMV. Other people find they obtain better results with magnesium oil spray (Ancient Minerals or Swanson), also available on Amazon.Shipping was incredibly fast through North Highland Traders. I placed my order on a Thursday and received the magnesium the next Monday!

My dietitian recommended this product to me years ago. I have been taking it daily ever since to relieve constipation. It works. She said that this is "more gentle" than other magnesium products. "More gentle" equates to "not like a particular side effect of food poisoning." I take 5 caps before bed and let them work their magic overnight. Amazon has the best price I've seen so far.
