This is so wonderful to have this set all together ready to buy at once. When I looked at buying individually, it was a lot more money. Not only is this a great deal, the oils are super high quality. I also bought with a book called The Complete Book of Essential Oils & Aromatherapy by Valerie Worwood, that I would recommend. I am enjoying them both a lot, thanks!!

Though the price may seem like a lot, individual essential oils are quite expensive. So, this package is a pretty good deal. My wife and I own a water vaporizer where we put just a few drops of our favorite essential oil in to freshen the room.Just a quick few uses from the oils provided: Tea Tea Oil for use on burns and small cuts. Tea Tea Oil has an amazing effect on sunburns and will significantly reduce your healing time (I swear by this stuff). My wife had a bad sunburn over most of her back. After putting on a bunch of tea tree oil the redness went away within a day and her skin never peeled. Though Tea Tree has a pungent smell, it will fade once dry. We've also used lavender has a calming effect on the body and is great when you want to unwind. My mother swears by peppermint oil for her headaches.Along with this box my wife bought "500 Formulas For Aromatherapy: Mixing Essential Oils for Every Use". The book is a great companion on how to use many of these oils (plus a lot more) for massage, aroma therapy, adding a scented washcloth to your clothes dryer to fresh clothes, plus much more. One thing this kit does not have is what is called a "carrier" oil. The book and others online contain some recipes recommending diluting the strong essential oil with something more innocuous (carrier oil) such as grapeseed, sweet almond, hazelnut or sesame oil. If what you're doing may call for a carrier oil, consider picking that up too.

I ordered the "basic care kit" because the quality of other Eden's Garden oils I have purchased has been high and because this collection of oils in 10 ml bottles would cost more if purchased seperately. I needed more lavender, eucalyptus, rosemary and pepperment because I use a lot of it with stressed out students and I wanted to use the Roman chamomile and geranium with my depressed clients. I use lemon, thyme and clove among other oils in my bug repellent recipe. I use a bottle of Tea tree oil every month. In other words, this entire collection is very useful and reasonly priced.
