I initially was a little skeptical about getting this Badger Brush for the reason being that everyone else either buys an EJ, Kent, Simpson or Muehle BB. Also since its is a brand you don't see many reviews about (you think you might get maybe a rash from this shave brush. I WAS WRONG and after reading other people reviews(even eBay),I wanted to get this shaving brush. For what you pay it does work extraordinarily well. I washed it with Shampoo, soaked it in vinegar to soften the bristles and make it smell good. Ever since the first use I can stop using it and works wonders for making luxurious lather with either AoS Lavender, TOBS Avocado & Van Der Soap. You just tap the brush in the shaving cream and whipping up lather in bowl with some water instantly. It will almost last for 3-4 passes. FYI If you pair it with a Merkur 38 and Wilkinson Sword Blade, shaving will not be a chore and will get you excited for future shaves. I hope this review helps other people decide on badger brush and get this one. Also one of the reviewers said the logo will go off quickly is legit and if you don't mind that you will adore this product.

This is my third badger brush. My first was a silver-tip brush that my wife got for me. It lasted for 15 years. The next one was a cheap eshave brush that was rough and smelled like a wet dog for the first month or so that I used it.This brush is big and the knot is full. It holds a lot of water and lathers up nicely. It is soft and a pleasure to use.I have no doubt that a brush of this quality would sell for double the price (or more) if it had one of the big manufacturers names on it. It would probably triple in price if you were to buy it at Art of Shaving or Caswell Massey.I do believe that there are times that you need to pay more for a quality product. This just happens to be one of the times that you get great value at a great price.

this brush is comparable to $100+ brushes sourced from Europe. It spreads a thick warm lather on quickly and 18 months after my purchase it's still perfect despite daily use.
