Stevia also has shown promise benefits in medical research for such conditions as obesity and high blood pressure. Stevia has negligible effect on blood glucose, therefore it is attractive as a natural sweetener to diabetics and others on carbohydrate-controlled diets.

First impressions are it taste like powdered sugar. I am mixing this with soda extracts and it is very strong.2 grams per 2 liters is super sweet and will leave your mouth sweet for 2 minutes.500 miligrams per 2 liters is still very sweet.Somewhere around 100 miligrams of stevia per 2 liters is more appropriate.
